Corona bedingt hat die Junge SVP Kanton Solothurn ihrer Mitgliederversammlung am 22. Mai in einem kleinen Rahmen durchgeführt. Nach einem turbulenten Jahr konnte die Junge SVP auf einen grossen Wahlerfolg bei den kantonalen sowie auch bei den kommunalen Wahlen zurückschauen.

Robin Kiefer wurde in der SVP Stadt Olten zum Präsidenten gewählt, weshalb er als Vize-Präsident zurücktritt. Die Junge SVP Kanton Solothurn bedankt sich bei Robin Kiefer für sein enormes Engagement.  An seiner Stelle übernimmt Felix Weber das Amt des Vize-Präsidenten. Wir wünsche Felix Weber viel Erfolg und Ausdauer im neuen Amt. Der Vorstand wurde mit grossem Applaus wiedergewählt und setzt sich neu wie folgt zusammen: Präsidentin Vanessa Meury, Vize-Präsident Felix Weber, Sekretär Mischa Wyss, Kassier Michal Plocica, Revisor Joris Amiet und Kommunikationsverantwortlicher Sven Waser.

Gegenstand der Mitgliederversammlung war auch die Parolenfassung für die Abstimmung vom 13. Juni. Als erstes hielt SVP Kantonsrat Beat Künzli zwei Referate zu den Agrarinitiativen. Die Mitglieder der Jungen SVP Kanton Solothurn beschlossen ohne Gegenstimme die Nein Parole zu den beiden Vorlagen.
Das Terrorismusgesetz wurde anschliessend von unserem Sekretär vorgestellt. Die Junge SVP Kanton Solothurn hat die Stimmfreigabe beschlossen.
Geschlossen gegen das CO2-Gesetz haben sich die Mitglieder der Jungen SVP Kanton Solothurn nach dem Referat unserer Präsident, Vanessa Meury ausgesprochen.
Für das Covid-19 Gesetz haben die Mitglieder die Stimmfreigabe beschlossen. Robin Kiefer hat uns die Vor- und Nachteile dieses Gesetz aufgezeigt.
